Tiananmen Mothers Renew Calls for Dialogue
Summary: In an open letter to the National People¡¯s Congress and the Chinese People¡¯s Political Consultative Conference, which are scheduled to meet in early March, the Tiananmen Mothers call for direct dialogue between the government, victims and their families. The group also renews calls for an investigation of the crackdown, public apologies and compensation, and accountability from those responsible.
